The Company
We are supporting a major manufacturer of construction materials, providing concrete products into the house building, building merchant, and rail industry. With more than 10 UK sites providing concrete products, they have expanded over the last 5 years through acquisitions and are now positioned for further investment.
The Kent production facility is the largest concrete product manufacturer in the business, producing 32,000 tonnes and £10 million per year. This site is preparing for extension, with 2 additional production beds and automated equipment due to be installed.
As part of their succession planning strategy, they are hiring a Production Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Production Manager provides the unique opportunity to immediately enter a succession plan for the Factory Manager. Initially taking responsibility for a team of 40 with 3 supervisors in production, this role will ultimately progress to full oversite of the facility.
